It covers a period from 1985 to 1995, including The Cool-Notes first appearance on Top of the Pops which was in their own words the most exciting moment in their career. Doing The Terry Wogan Show, meeting and having a drink with him in the green room was another.

One of the most memorable moments that The 'Notes constantly recall with great fondness was appearing on "Peters Pop Show in Germany" and sharing the stage with the late great Whitney Houston in 1985.

The Cool-Notes first appearance on Top of the pops in March 1985 performing 'Spend The Night'  which reached number 11 in the national UK Charts.
During the 80's The Terry Wogan Chat show became one of the most popular and prestigious shows on British TV it ran from 1981 until 1992. Appearing  on the show in 1985 was one of the highlights in the bands career.
In this video we see Ian, Steve, Lauraine & Heather being interviewed by Tommy Boyd and having fun on the popular childrens Saturday morning show called Wide Awake Club (TV-am). Other presenters were Timmy Mallett and Michaela Strachan. The show ran for almost 2 hours from 7.30am 'til 9.25am. It was part of ITV's breakast franchise TV-am and was on air between 1984 and 1989.
The Cool-Notes loved the UK's version of Soul Train from the mid 80's which featured so many  British talented artiste and the chance to meet and see so many of their American Soul Star hero's. Here The Cool-Notes perform 'Spend The Night' with presenter Jeffrey Daniel of Shalamar fame.
The Cool-Notes made their second  appearance on Soul Train  in 1985 this time performing 'In your Car'
The Cool-Notes released a party fun tune in 1986 called 'Girls Night Out' Here we see Lauraine and Heather performing on The TV show called 'Solid Soul' on channel 4. The new format  replaced Soul Train.
In 1988 The Cool-Notes were one of the many acts which performed on the live ITV show, 'World Dance Championship' which was filmed at the famous London Hippodrome theatre. Here the band sing 'House of Love' which was the AA side of their then current recording 'Magic Lover' released on the Risin Record label RAH-102A in 1988.
In 1987 The 'Cool - Chicks' went back to their roots when they were invited to sing the backing vocals for Freddie McGregor's huge hit, 'Just don't wanna be lonely' which got to number 9 in the UK charts.

The Cool-Notes second  appearance on Top of the pops in July 1985 performing 'In Your Car' which reached number 13 in the national UK Charts
The Cool-Notes enjoyed many hits throughout Europe during the height of their career, Germany in particular was one of the bands favourite destinations and would play many gigs there. A very special gig that remains close to the band even today is Peter's Pop show which was a massive musicial event that attracted top star acts from all over the world. The Cool-Notes performed 'Spend The Night' here in 1985 as part of their German tour.  
In 1985 The Cool-Notes had the honour of appearing on the same show as the Late great Whitney Houston at Peters Pop Show in Germany. Keep your eyes open and watch carefully at the video when it gets to just over halfway when The Cool-Notes and many other star acts join Whitney on stage for the grand finale.
