The Cool-Notes recorded and released "I Wanna Dance" in 1983 on The Sour Grapes record label.

"Blown It" was on the 'b'side of the above single and was their first commercial Dance/Club/R&B release.

The Cool-Notes covered 'The Matumbi' hit record
"After Tonight" in 1977 after huge fan demand.

The Archies 1969 No.1 hit single "Sugar Sugar" was another cover the band recorded & released in 1980 on The Gem record label.

"Why Can't We Be Friends" was taken from The Cool-Notes Reggae album 'Down to Earth' and released as a single on The Mass Media Music record label in 1981.
